Privacy

Last updated: 6 October 2026. This page explains which personal data is processed when you visit this website or write to me, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Datenschutzgesetz (DSG).

Visiting this website (Besuch der Website)

This website uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels, and it embeds no social media plug-ins. Fonts, photographs and the film are loaded from this website itself and not from other servers.

This website is hosted by Netlify. When you open a page, the hosting provider’s server automatically records technical access data in log files: your IP address, date and time, the requested page and information about your browser and device. This is necessary to deliver and secure the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). The provider stores these logs according to its own retention periods.

Contact form and email (Kontaktformular)

If you write to me through the form, I process your name, email address, optional company, project type and message to answer your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in answering messages sent to me). Providing this data is voluntary, but without it I cannot reply.

The message is sent by email through Google’s mail service (Gmail) and arrives in my mailbox; the website itself does not store a copy. Google acts as a service provider for this and may process data outside the EU, where it relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Your email address is set as the reply address.

I keep inquiries only as long as needed to answer them and for follow-up questions, and delete them after at most 6 months unless a collaboration or a legal duty requires me to keep them longer.

Protection against abuse (Missbrauchsschutz)

To prevent automated misuse, the form limits how often one connection can send a message within a minute. This is kept in the server’s memory only for a short time and is not stored permanently.

External links (Externe Links)

This website links to other services, for example Instagram, GitHub, Cardhouse and manufacturer websites. They process data only after you follow a link, under their own privacy policies.

Your rights (Ihre Rechte)

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of your personal data, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To use these rights, write to frederik.strobl10@gmail.com. I make no decisions based solely on automated processing.

Complaints (Beschwerde)

If you believe that your data is processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.

Changes

If this website changes, for example by adding a new service, this page will be updated and the date above will change.
